Experience a 32-page 1987 Marvel Comics caper in which the Spectacular Spider-Man teams up with Spider-Woman against the Wrecking Crew in the storyline “Wrecking Havoc!”—Part 1 of 2.
This issue features Spider-Woman (Julia Carpenter) as a guest star, with script by Danny Fingeroth, pencils by Jim Mooney, inks by Vince Colletta and Art Nichols, and a cover by Bob Hall and Al Milgrom.
The action begins at the Dextron labs in Colorado, where the new Spider-Woman and the Wrecking Crew are in pursuit of a highly coveted computer disc. Despite Spider-Woman’s best efforts, the Wrecker, Bulldozer, Piledriver, and Thunderball steal the disc. A few days later in New York City, the Wrecker and Spider-Woman renew their battle, but this time the Spectacular Spider-Man joins the fray, raising questions about who is really ally and who is foe. In parallel, the Wrecker’s mother lies near death in Queens, adding a personal stakes layer to the confrontation.
