Meanwhile, the Human Torch follows a lead on the Black Abbott to an island base off the New Jersey coast. When Aunt May's nephew realizes that he's working for the Black Abbott, the wondrous wall-crawler swings into action. The web-slinger and the Torch team up one more time to take down the Black Abbott.

Notes: This issue includes a one-page recap of the events of Amazing Spider-Man 258 that explains why Spidey is back in his red and blue costume. The alien symbiote/black costume appears on the final page attempting to escape from its prison in the Baxter Building.
